Will my child be prepared for kindergarten?  That is a question that runs through every parent’s mind before that milestone year.  At Carolina Academy our Pre-K program does just that by helping our four year olds build a solid foundation for kindergarten.  Dedicated and loving teachers lead our Pre-K classroom each day with creative ideas and exciting ways to help children learn. We begin the day with a large group circle time to teach concepts in literacy and math.  Sight words, Spanish, art, music, and gym time are all parts of our Pre-K program.

We use our “Exploring and Discovering” curriculum along with “Learn Everyday” curriculum to align with the South Carolina State Standards of Early Care and Education and The Good Start Grow Smart Early Learning Standards.

Graduation

When they graduate preschool and head into kindergarten, our Pre-K students wear a cap and gown to celebrate their achievements. During this graduation parents and families are invited to watch this momentous occasion and get a glimpse of what they have learned throughout the year.

During the summer we have a junior summer camp for those rising Pre-K students that are separate from our older summer campers.  Ask about our summer camp options.
