Child Development for Every Stage

Carolina Academy has developed an in-depth curriculum focused on seasonal activities called “Exploring and Discovering”. This curriculum encourages children to explore and create by offering fun and educational customized experiences that enhance each child’s individual development. “Exploring and Discovering” was created to be age-appropriate for every level of a child’s development.

Classroom Calendars

are sent home every month to the parents to help inform of the daily lesson plans and upcoming events.

Infants and Toddlers

Infant 1 & 2: 6 weeks-12 months
Toddler 1: 12 months-17 months
Toddler 2: 18 months-24 months

Sign Language

Sign language has proven to enhance infant and toddler communication skills. Carolina Academy includes sign language as part of early childhood education to help infants and toddlers better communicate their wants and needs at home.

Young Twos Through 4K

Young Twos: 2 years- 2 1/2 years
Two T’s: 2 1/2 years-3 years
Young 3’s: 3 years-3 1/2 years
4K: 4 years-5 years- Our program is designed to begin preparing your child for success in public kindergarten.

Spanish

An integral part of the curriculum at Carolina Academy is teaching children basic Spanish. Basic Spanish is taught in our Young 2’s thru 4K classes.
